Don’t Touch My Candy!

This is our midterm project! It’s a Halloween themed candy bucket with light and sound effects.

When activated from the ultrasound distance sensor inside the pumpkin candy bucket it will move a paper cut-out of a ghost while also saying “don’t touch my candy”.

This project uses an Arduino 33 IoT (ARM Cortex-M0+) as the main controller that reads the ultrasonic sensor and controls the servo. There’s also a sub controller for the sound effect. The ghost was controlled by a stepper motor that is driven by a driver chip. The main controller was programmed with Arduino IDE and the audio controller was programmed in pure C.
