The theme of this midterm is Halloween themed and I am here to plan about what will I do in this midterm.
Til this point we have learned these knowledges:
- Basic electronics circuits
- Digital input/output
- Analog input/output
- PWM
I am not sure if I want to use devices that uses items beyond these key points but probably not. This is a teamwork project and I really doesn’t want to make my team mate “suffer” lol. I should talk with Jeff.
I have two plans so far:
- A candy bucket that plays a noise and blinks a few lights when the distance sensor is being activated
- An eye mask that uses accelerometer to blink LEDs
Currently I am working on a breakout board for my melody chip in KiCAD. There’s no connection on the chip because I have not received the SOP-8 version of the chip from LCSC thus I can not make sure which pin is usable. Once I received my tube of chip from them I will finish the schematics. I need to design the PCB quick and make an order on JLCPCB.
This module is capable of playing back 2 square wave tones with ADSR envelope and one channel 6khz sample. It uses a software mixer to mix these three sounds.
In this mid term I will only use the 1 channel voice sample.
